Ballet, Tap and Modern classes are run as combined classes, covering the different styles of dance. Hip Hop, Street Dance, Contemporary and Musical Theatre Dance are taught as individual subjects

FREE TRIALS AND A BRAND NEW CLASS
With rehearsals for our show at the Ipswich Regent under way, trials of our regular classes are currently not available.
Instead, we are offering this opportunity to join this BRAND NEW CLASS and be guaranteed a place to join the main academy in July. This 8 week course will give children a chance to try all of the subjects that we offer, making it easier for them to decide which class they would like to join. It will also allow those with some dance experience the opportunity to try other subjects and broaden their dance experience.
Places on this course will be limited and must be booked and paid for in advance. We are expecting demand to be high, so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Course dates: 9th May – 4th July (no class on 30th May) on Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:15 at Castle Hill Church. Ages: From 5 years upwards. If we have a large age range booking, we will split the course into 2 age groups and run an older class 6.15 – 7pm. The cost for the course is £40.

Little Stars
A fun introduction to dance for children from 2 and a half years old. It works on developing their imagination, creativity, confidence, independence and gross motor skills. The aim of the class is to encourage happy, confident little dancers
Castle Hill Church Friday 9.30 - 10.15 & Saturday 9.30 – 10.15am, and Somersham Village Hall Tuesday 9.15 – 10am

Ballet, tap and modern
We have a range of classes for different ages and abilities, in various locations and times. Please email info@sadpa.co.uk for advice on the most suitable class, letting us know your child’s age and if they have any dance experience.

Street and commercial
For children from 5 years old through to our seniors aged up to 18. These energetic, fun classes are great for children who love to dance, they help them to build confidence and concentration, while doing something they love!
Castle Hill Church: Wednesday Juniors 5.15pm, Intermediate 6pm, Commercial 7pm

Musical theatre dance
This class is for children from 7 years old upwards who love musicals! They dance to songs from the shows, from the traditional favourites to more modern. A really good, fun, lively class

Seniors 11plus years old 6:00 - 6:45pm

Hip hop
These lively classes are great for energetic dancers – building in pace and technique, they enable dancers to progress and are great at building their confidence
Landseer Road Methodist Church: Mondays Diddy Hip Hop 4pm & Hip Hop 4:45pm; Tuesday Juniors 4pm, Intermediates 5pm, Seniors 6pm.
Castle Hill Church: Saturdays: 10:25am.

Contemporary
Expressive dance that combines elements of modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet, for 8 years old upwards.

Adult tap
If you’re not a chld, you can still dance. Adult tap at Somersham Village Hall on Tuesdays at 7 - 7.45pm is a really fun and friendly class. Please get in touch by emailing info@sadpa.co.uk if you would like to know more, or just come along and have a go!
